From Client Need to Company Vision: How Acadia Bay Began

Most people start businesses with a plan. I started mine because a client needed a solution.
At the time, I was working as a freelance Salesforce consultant, helping associations and nonprofits improve how they use technology. One of my clients wanted to continue working with our small team but didn’t want to juggle separate contracts and invoices. They wanted a single, trusted partner — someone who could take responsibility for the entire relationship.
The team agreed to work under me, so I formed Acadia Bay.
It wasn’t a big strategic move at the time, just a way to simplify things for a client we valued. But once the company existed, I started to see something bigger taking shape.
The Problem with “Project-Based” Consulting
In the software consulting world, engagements often feel temporary. A project ends, consultants rotate off, and critical knowledge walks out the door. The next team starts from scratch, and the client has to explain their processes all over again.
That constant turnover leads to frustration and lost time. It also makes it hard for organizations to build confidence in their systems or in the people managing them.
Building Something Different
I believed there was a better way. So I built Acadia Bay around a simple principle: consistency matters.
Our goal is to be the team that stays, the one that knows your system, your staff, your challenges, and your long-term goals. We focus on building trusted relationships, understanding our clients deeply, and solving problems that actually make their day-to-day work easier.
It’s not about being the biggest firm. It’s about being the most reliable partner.
The Acadia Bay Approach
Today, Acadia Bay helps associations and nonprofits get more out of Salesforce and AMS platforms through long-term partnership, not just short-term projects. We take pride in knowing our clients, anticipating needs, and creating stability in a space that often feels anything but stable.
That’s what Acadia Bay is built on: consistency, reliability, and care.
Stay tuned for more about how we make it work, one partnership at a time.
